Technical Business Analyst – SC Cleared & NPPV3

We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support a high-profile government data transformation programme, focused on integrating and analysing complex datasets to improve intelligence and operational decision-making.

The initial phase will focus on delivering a proof of value, bringing together multiple data sources, defining data-matching requirements and assessing opportunities for future automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document technical and business requirements for complex data integration and analytics initiatives.
• Work closely with data scientists, engineers and technical stakeholders to define requirements for data ingestion, transformation and record matching.
• Facilitate discovery workshops and translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.
• Support the integration and analysis of multiple datasets, identifying dependencies, risks and data quality considerations.
• Support proof-of-value delivery, ensuring requirements align with programme objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Identify opportunities to automate data integration and matching processes in future delivery phases.
• Collaborate with existing Business Analysts and multidisciplinary delivery teams to maintain delivery continuity.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst within complex, data-driven programmes.
• Strong understanding of data integration, data mapping, data flows and data transformation processes.
• Excellent requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business requirements and delivery documentation.
