Day Rate: £550-£600/day (Inside IR35)

SR2 is supporting a leading consultancy with the delivery of a major AI and data transformation programme for a global life sciences organisation.

This role will focus on the project delivery of multiple AI, ML and data-led workstreams, including AI-enabled content generation, large language model use cases, chatbot-led data structuring and wider AI analysis across complex business domains.

We are looking for a Project Manager with proven experience delivering AI, ML or data-led programmes in large, complex, multinational environments. You will need to be comfortable working with technical teams, business stakeholders and senior sponsors, bringing structure, governance and delivery focus to fast-moving workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of one or more AI, ML or data-led workstreams.
• Manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, RAID, governance and senior reporting.
• Work with AI, data, product and business teams to define scope, priorities and MVP outcomes.
• Coordinate workshops, delivery meetings, governance forums and stakeholder updates.
• Track progress across timelines, risks, issues, decisions and key deliverables.
• Translate AI/ML delivery activity into clear updates for senior and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering AI, ML or data-led programmes.
• Experience working on global or multinational projects with complex stakeholder groups.
• Confident with AI/ML terminology, concepts and delivery considerations.
• Strong project planning, governance, RAID management and senior reporting experience.
• Experience working across technical, data, product and business teams.
• Comfortable managing ambiguity, dependencies and competing priorities.
• Life sciences, pharma, healthcare, R&D or regulated industry experience would be highly beneficial.
