Transaction Banking Expert – Cash & Liquidity Management

We are building a small specialist team on a transaction banking programme with a major UK bank, and we need a genuine Cash and Liquidity Management expert to join it. This is hands-on advisory and product work at the sharp end of a live banking transformation, embedded alongside a senior consulting team.

What you’ll be doing

• Bringing deep Cash and Liquidity (C&L) management and transaction banking expertise to shape the target solution
• Leading product discovery and ownership, developing epics and user stories through to a clear, buildable definition
• Sizing the build and producing estimations for executives, time and cost under different scenarios, with clear recommendations in a final report
• Providing competitor and strategy advisory across the C&L management space, including vendor assessment

What we’re looking for

Deep, genuine expertise across Cash and Liquidity management and transaction banking, specifically:

• Sweeping / cash concentration
• Notional pooling / interest optimisation
• Inter-company loans
• Bi-lateral and multi-lateral netting
• Virtual account management (a particular priority)
• Commercial payments / ISO

Alongside that domain depth, you’ll bring:

• A track record leading product discovery, product ownership, and epic and user story development
• Experience sizing builds and producing executive-level estimations and recommendations
• Competitor and strategy advisory experience in the C&L management space, with hands-on knowledge of relevant vendor platforms (including, but not limited to, Finacle)
