Technology Project Manager – Inside IR35

We are supporting a leading consultancy on a major technology enabled transformation within a global life sciences organisation.

We’re looking for a delivery focused Technology Project Manager with a strong consulting background to step into a complex, data led programme. This role requires someone proactive, comfortable with ambiguity, and confident managing senior stakeholders in a fast moving and evolving environment.

The successful candidate will need to be comfortable working closely with technical teams and shaping delivery structure in environments where clarity is still emerging.

The Role

You’ll sit at the centre of a technology implementation programme, working across technical teams, data specialists, and senior business stakeholders.

The focus will include:

• Leading delivery of a complex technology implementation programme
• Driving structured requirements gathering and documentation, including clear acceptance criteria
• Supporting data analysis and modelling activities alongside technical teams
• Contributing to the design and implementation of data governance frameworks
• Establishing and running effective programme governance forums
• Managing risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones
• Translating technical concepts into clear updates for senior stakeholders
• Leading cross-functional teams and ensuring delivery momentum

The environment will require someone comfortable bringing structure where needed, operating calmly under pressure, and managing senior stakeholders professionally.

Experience Required

• Proven background as a Technology Project Manager within a consulting environment
• Experience delivering complex technology or data-led transformation programmes
• Strong experience in:
• Requirements gathering
• Writing acceptance criteria
• Data analysis and modelling exposure
• Data governance framework development and implementation
• Experience leading cross-functional technical teams
• Confident managing senior stakeholders in ambiguous environments
• Strong communication and facilitation skills

Nice to Have

• Experience within Life Sciences or other regulated environments
• Exposure to Generative AI or AI led initiatives
