Data & Analytics Transformation Consultant (GCP) – Contract

Location: Predominantly remote, with occasional travel to Hampshire

We’re looking for an experienced Data & Analytics Transformation Consultant to join a major data transformation programme.

The organisation is building a unified data platform and needs someone who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams.

The role is roughly 70% business/change focused and 30% technical. You’ll work across Sales, Finance and Operations to understand business requirements and KPIs, translate these into data requirements, and work closely with Data Engineering to shape the solution.

A major part of the role will be stakeholder engagement and change. You’ll run workshops, understand existing processes, challenge ways of working and help stakeholders adopt new approaches to data and reporting.

What we’re looking for

• Strong data/analytics transformation experience
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Business analysis and requirements gathering
• Experience running workshops and driving change
• Data governance and data quality knowledge
• Understanding of modern data platforms and architecture
• Exposure to GCP, dbt, Airflow and/or Metabase is essential
• Comfortable working closely with Data Engineers without needing to be a hands-on engineer
• Consulting experience would be advantageous
