SR2 is supporting a major transformation programme focused on designing a fully agentic solution for a Governance, Risk and Compliance function. We are seeking an experienced AI Data Architect to design the trusted, governed and scalable data foundations needed to enable the solution. You will define the target data architecture, information models and integration approach while supporting the delivery of an initial privacy-focused proof of concept.

Responsibilities

• Define the target data architecture required to support the future agentic solution.
• Design conceptual, logical and physical information models across relevant data domains.
• Develop approaches for knowledge graphs, ontologies, taxonomies and semantic modelling.
• Define metadata management, data lineage and traceability requirements.
• Establish data governance, ownership, quality and access-control frameworks.
• Design integration patterns across enterprise platforms, data sources and repositories.
• Identify and structure the trusted data assets needed to support AI and GRC use cases.
• Support the design and delivery of a privacy-focused proof of concept.

Required Experience

• Strong experience in enterprise data architecture, information architecture and data modelling.
• Practical knowledge of data governance, metadata management, lineage and data quality.
• Understanding of knowledge graphs, ontologies and semantic modelling concepts.
• Experience designing data platforms and integration patterns within complex environments.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT technologies, APIs and structured and unstructured data.
• Strong understanding of master data, information management and data controls.
• Experience designing data foundations for AI, machine learning or advanced analytics use cases.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior business and technology stakeholders
