Scrum Master

Day Rate: £550-£600/day (Inside IR35)
Location: Hybrid (1 dpw in London)

SR2 is partnering with a leading consultancy to find an experienced Scrum Master for a complex AI and data transformation programme within a global organisation operating in the life sciences sector.

The work involves supporting agile delivery across AI, ML and data-led teams, with current workstreams spanning AI-enabled content generation, large language model use cases, chatbot-led data structuring and wider AI analysis across complex business domains.

We are looking for a Scrum Master with proven experience supporting AI, ML, data or technology teams in large, complex, multinational environments. You will help teams work effectively in agile ways, maintain delivery momentum and improve collaboration across technical, product and business stakeholders.

Experience working across distributed global teams is important, and prior exposure to regulated environments or life sciences organisations would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support agile delivery across one or more AI, ML or data-led workstreams.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and backlog refinement.
• Help teams clarify sprint goals, priorities, blockers, dependencies and delivery risks.
• Work with product, AI, data and business stakeholders to support backlog health and MVP delivery.
• Coach teams on practical agile behaviours, continuous improvement and delivery discipline.
• Use agile metrics to support conversations around progress, predictability and team performance.
• Escalate blockers and dependencies that impact team delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master supporting AI, ML, data, digital or technology-led programmes.
• Experience working on global or multinational projects with distributed teams.
• Confident with AI/ML terminology, concepts and agile delivery considerations.
• Strong experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and supporting agile teams.
• Experience working with technical, data, product and business stakeholders.
• Ability to manage blockers, dependencies, team flow and delivery risks.
